On Monday, EITB stations begin their new season, keeping their public service status steady
On Monday 31, the EITB stations will begin the new season with content and public service at the centre. Euskadi Irratia, Radio Euskadi, Radio Vitoria, Gaztea and EITB Musika will begin the course.
The presentation of the new programming took place on Thursday at the main reception of the EITB headquarters in Bilbao, where this year's news was presented, including the presence of Mikel Rotaetxe as host ofthe Baipasa programme of Euskadi Irratia, and of María Ruiz, of the Boulevard magazine of Radio Euskadi.
In the presentation, the director of Radio and Audio, Maite Goñi, stressed that in the new phase the EITB stations will work in three directions: more live and closer,new formats reinforcing their commitment to visual radioand a new way of distributing content, and added that in order to achieve all this, the EITB stations bring a close, pluralistic and quality offer .
Euskadi Irratia will maintain his strong personality in the new season. The mornings will begin with Argi ibili and Faktoria , and at noon the Goizak Gaur and Kultur Leihoak will take over. The main novelty will arrive in the afternoon: after seven years, Olaia Urtiaga will pass the witness to Mikel Rotaetxe in Baipasa . At dusk the Messenger and Arratsean will return.
Radio Euskadi faces the season with a major change: from ten o'clock in the morning Maria Ruiz will lead the renovated Boulevard , opening a new window into the news and entertainment. In addition, the sports programmes will release a new style, the thematic offer will be updated and the day will close with a new live show at eleven o'clock in the evening. RadioVitoria will continue to approach Vitoria-Gasteiz and the entire Alavese territory, following its usual programming, and collecting the most important events in the territory.
