The last time they have called for the release of Israelis abducted from the attack of 7 October 2023 is in a different context, given the validity of the ceasefire. According to the agreement with the US mediation, within 72 hours, Hamas will release 20 people abducted and alive.
Relatives of Israelis abducted by Hamas on 7 October 2023 demonstrated this Saturday in Tel Aviv for the last time.
In the context of the hostage crisis, this is the latest mobilization to put pressure on the Israeli Government and Hamas. The agreement provides for the release in the next few hours, probably on Monday, of 20 of the 48 Israelis held hostage by Hamas.
In return, Israel will release 1,950 Palestinian prisoners, but it remains unclear what will happen to the rest of the prisoners and hostages, who have reported only part of the agreement.
But the families of the hostages are hopeful and eager to see their relatives as soon as possible.
The international authorities, on the other hand, are wary of the agreement and the next steps it will take.
