Israel and Lebanon will meet for the second time on Thursday in Washington
A White House spokesperson has reported that Israel and Lebanon will begin a second round of negotiations on 23 April, which will be resumed by Washington.

Representatives of Israel and Lebanon will meet for the second time to advance the peace negotiations. The United States will mediate, and as on the first date, the Shia militia Hezbollah will not participate.
According to a White House spokesperson, Washington will be the meeting place again. "We celebrate the interview that began on April 14. We will continue to facilitate direct talks between the two governments," he added.
Two days after the first talks, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel's offensive in Lebanon would cease for ten days.
Yechiel Leiter and Nada Hamadech, US ambassadors to Israel and Lebanon, respectively, participated in the first meeting, which Trump described as "brilliant talks."
A few days after the US and Israel launched an offensive against Iran on 28 February, the Israeli army also launched an offensive against Lebanon, which has killed at least 2,300 people.
For its part, the Lebanese Government has refused to allow Iran to speak on its behalf with the US during negotiations in Pskistan.
