"Karmele": Creating worlds on screen
The artistic director Zaloa Ziluaga and the head of the set Imanol Etxeberria have been responsible for representing the war and post-war of 1936 in the film Karmele (Asier Altuna, 2025). Actor, producer and director Ricardo Darín will star in the official poster of the 74 edition of the San Sebastian Film Festival, which will be held from 18 to 26 September 2026. The posters have been designed by the Wallijai Donostiarra studio. In the case of the poster starring Darin, they have created a collage from a portrait taken in 2024. Along with theofficial poster, posters from the other sections have also been released,wishing to pay tribute to the film trades. These posters will soon be joined by the threeClassics , which this year will pay tribute to the French filmmaker, novelist and screenwriter Jose Giovanni.
