Igor Legarreta's film "Blind Ants" arrives in cinemas on October 9
The Basque film is based on a novel by Ramiro Pinilla, and the cast consists of Urko Olazabal, Itziar Ituño, Josean Bengoetxea, Mira Gaztañaga and Carlos Santos.
Blind ants, the third feature film by filmmaker Igor Legarreta (When You Lose Me, All Moons), will be released in cinemas on October 9. The film, with the participation of EITB, is based on the novel by getxoztarra writer Ramiro Pinilla, and is starring Urko Olazabal, Itziar Ituño, Josean Bengoetxea, Mira Gaztañaga and Carlos Santos.
Legarreta himself and Andoni de Carlos (Isle of the Pheasants, Altsasu, the Great) have written the story, which will be shot in Bilbao, Elorrio, Galdakao, Getxo, Gorliz and Mundaka, as well as in some huge decorations in Bilbao.
The director of photography is Imanol Nabea, art director Mikel Serrano, costume manager Maite Tarilonte, makeup manager Abigail Machado, hairdresser Clara Domínguez, assembler Maialen Sarasua and original soundtrack author Pascal Gaigne.
