The festival sold out tickets for some shows in just an hour
"Sacamanteas" and "The Black Ball," among others, have already exhausted all tickets.

This Sunday, at 9:00 a.m., tickets for the first three days of the 74th edition of the Festival began to be sold — on 18, 19 and 20 September — and, in just an hour, some films sold out all the tickets available.
Among these productions is the Basque film Sacamanteas by David Perez Sañudo, which is in the Official Section, in the section of special broadcasts outside the competition.
Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, in "Los Javis," The Black Ball , have also sold out tickets for the two shows on sale so far.
Meanwhile, other films like The Invite, starring Olivia Wilde, have only one entry available in their first four passes, like theSpanish Así chegou a noite .
The Festival has decided to repeat the formula used in previous editions and to sell tickets in a staggered way, day by day, so that some of these films can have tickets for other screenings in sales starting this Monday and Tuesday, while from Wednesday, September 16, the sale will open for all the days of the Festival.
Major gatherings, with hardly any tickets
With regard to the three main galleries that make up the Festival — the inaugural gala, the closing gala and the Donostia Prize — the sale has taken place, with great success, in the previous days.
Thus, there are currently no tickets for the Naomi Watts Donostia Prize Gala on 19 September, nor for the Closing Gala on 26 September. However, the Opening Gala on 18 September still has three tickets on sale.
