Literature, shivering at the pace of literature
The Literaturia festival will once again offer the Plaza, from 29 to 31 May, in Zarautz, for literature that is created in Basque or brought in Basque from and to the village, under the slogan "Dar-dar".
The festival, founded in Larrabetzu in 2008 and held in Zarautz since 2014, will offer book fairs, book presentations, musical performances, courses and round tables for literary lovers.
On Friday, May 29, programming will begin in the Model Room: translator Maialen Berastegi will read the manifesto, and Imanol Epelde will perform the show.
On Saturday, there will be a book fair all day (11:00-14: 00 and 16:30-19: 30) in Lege Zaharren Enparantza, the collective Mejillon Tigre will offer a writing workshop to boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 16, the literary portal Armiarma will be honored and the string quartet Habia will offer a concert (20:15, Modelo).
In addition, the Ahotsenea space will host book presentations on Saturday morning to evening: Amaia Aranzeta, Nahia Intxausti, Joxean Agirre, Maite Lopez Las Heras, Garbiñe Ubeda...
On Sunday, to conclude, a round table will be held. Translation: impossible, in action. In the morning, the show is scheduled for the afternoon.
