Hundreds of Joxeba Leturia, Thursday in the Arriaga
Leturia's hidden diary Jose Luis Alvarez Enparantza Txillardegi(San Sebastián, 1929-2012) The novel published in 1957, which first narrated the internal conflict of a character in the Basque narrative, will be read on Thursday 4 in the 19th edition of the Continuous Reading of Classics organized by the Euskaltegi Bilbo Zaharra.
The reading will take place at the Arriaga Theatre on Thursday, June 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and can be followed live, both at ORAIN and through the giant screen that will be installed in Plaza Arriaga.
The writer Joseba Sarrionandia (Iurreta, 1958) will begin the reading at 08:00, after which hundreds of people will give voice to the internal reflection of Joxeba Leturia: cultural and social agents, students, teachers, Counsellor Ibone Bengoetxea, Deputy General of Bizkaia, Elixabete Etxanobe, Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, President of Euskaltzaindia, students of the Diaspora, Euskera students of the 50 Basque centers of the world...

Before the reading, Irati and Edorta Jimenez will offer the First Modern Basque Novel on June 2, and Joseba Sarrionandia and Markos Zapiain will have a colloquium on June 3 at the headquarters of Euskaltzaindia in Bilbao.
