Tickets for the La Oreja de Van Gogh tour will be on sale at noon
Last week the rumors were suddenly lowered: the original singer of the group Amaia Montero is the return of La Oreja de Van Gogh, 17 years after leaving the group, taking back the place that Leire Martinez occupied during that time.
The group confirmed the news and announced a 16-concert tour in a note, so today, October 20, tickets for those shows will be on sale at 12:00 on the group's website.
The first concert will be on May 9 in Barakaldo, at the BEC, and the tour Tantas Cosas que Contar will arrive in San Sebastián (Illumbe) on July 31 and on November 20 in Pamplona (Navarra Arena).
In addition to the Basque Country, La Oreja de Van Gogh will offer 13 more concerts: Madrid, Albacete, Murcia, Seville, Gijón, Santander, Valencia, Zaragoza, Barcelona...
The group has promised concerts full of classics: "Cuídate", "La Playa", "Puedes contar con migo", "Rosas", "20 de enero"... And tickets for these shows will be on sale on Monday (October 20); the usual ticket price will be between 45 and 72 euros (plus "distribution costs"), and the VIP package will be between 110 and 290 euros.
The group has advanced that guitarist Pablo Benegas will not participate in these first concerts, although he will remain a member of the band.
"Being united again is magical to us, and we want to share it. Today more than ever, we want to take our songs in our hands and go out into the world, be thousands one night and sing with you, that life lives once, that everything happens here and now," the group says in the note.
