Jeff Tweedy, driver of the Wilco group, pop star Anastacia and Estrella Morente are some of the great names that the Kursaal Scene program will bring to San Sebastian, where on January 3 the programming of the San Sebastian auditorium will begin with the performance that the Nøgen group has organized to celebrate its ten years of career.
Next year's concert program will also include the famous Chinese pianist Yuja Wang, in charge of starting the classical music show on January 16, and the famous pop star Anastacia, who will take her to the capital of Guipuzcoana on October 22 to sing her best-known songs #NTKTour tours Anastacia.Estrella Morente will take over the concerts at the Kursaal on February 19, followed by TV collaborator Grison (March 13), Ryan Adams (April 13), La La Love You (March 16) and Rodrigo Cuevas (May 17).
As for classical music, the programming will begin on January 16; Yuja Wang will perform the Ligeti Concert, the Chopin Concert No. 1, and pieces for the Stravinsky and Mozart orchestra along with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.The Baroque Orchestra of the Basque Country will offer the arias and dances of the time on 28 February, the National Opera of the Capitol of Toulouse on 12 April will stage the ballet 'Sémiramis/Don Juan', and on 24 May the British cellist Steve Isserlis will perform the Op.20 Obertura de Arriaga, in the second centenary of the death of the musician Bilbaíno, and the English Chamber Orchestra.
On October 27, the Polish pianist Piotr Anderszewski will perform Bach's Score No. 1 and the pieces of Bartok and Brahms, and on November 17, the second ballet of the year, "La mer" by Scapino Ballet Rotterdam.The year will be closed by a traditional Kursaal Scene: Bach's Christmas Oratory, performed this time by Collegium Vocale Gent.
