Azkena Rock Festival announces concert schedule
Bywater Call and The Backyard Casanovas will star in the free concerts in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca, where families can enjoy the Txiki ARF space.
The Azkena Rock Festival has published the opening hours of its 24th edition (18, 19 and 20 June in Mendizabala). On Thursday, The Hives will perform at 23:35; Alice Cooper, Friday's poster head, will take the stage twenty minutes after midnight; and Social Distortion, Saturday's main band, will take the stage at 21:40.
On Friday and Saturday (13:30), free concerts in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca will begin; on Friday the soul-blues band Bywater Call will perform; and on Saturday the German rock and roll band The Backyard Casanovas.
In addition, for the third consecutive year, the Rock Festival A will feature a program dedicated to families: concerts, courses and children's activities in tribute to the mythical bands that have passed through the festival (face painters, air guitar competitions, bingo rocker, pua and the creation of personalized sheets...).
