The Old Music Week of Álava will offer a 18th century mass and the return of Carlos Mena
The 44th edition of the festival also reaches the gardens of Santa Catalina de Iruña de Oca and Antezana de Foronda, as well as Vitoria.

The Diputación Foral de Álava has prepared the 44th edition of the Week of Ancient Music of Álava, which this year will bring not only to Vitoria, but also to the gardens of Santa Catalina de Iruña de Oca and Antezana de Foronda, from 11 to 20 September.
One of the strong dishes of the festival presented this Monday will be the interpretation of a manuscript that has been played in trousers for 70 years. It is a 1792 manuscript that has appeared under the sacristy of the Cathedral of Santa Maria de Vitoria-Gasteiz, a copy of an original from the sixteenth century, according to experts.
Thanks to the efforts of researchers Rafa Mendialdua and Manu Sagastume, these pages have identified the "Office of the Dead" of Cristóbal de Morales and an unpublished mass, which will be retrieved by Intonationes on September 17 in concert colloquium format in the Cathedral itself.
This year's Week will also bring back Counterpart Carlos Mena, who will perform on September 19 at the Conservatory Jesus Guridi with Concerto 1700. The poster also includes other names such as Collegium Musicum Madrid and Martín Llade, OBNI and Miriam Hontana, or Conductus Ensemble.
The festival will begin on September 11 in the gardens of the Museum of Fine Arts of Álava, students of the Conservatory Jesús Guridi, the same ones who will close the festival on September 20.
