The unions of the Ertzaintza ERne, Sipe and Esan have denounced and condemned the attacks and called for a "clear condemnation" of all parties, as has PP Congresswoman Ainhoa Domaica.
The paintingsagainst the Ertzaintza and the Security Adviser ofthe Basque Government, Bingen Zupiria, appeared this Sunday in the old town of Hernani (Gipuzkoa), according to the union Sipe .
The "derogatory allusions" such as "ACAB", "Bingen Zupiri Dog" and "Zipios" andthe dianas , the swastika and a star of David have appeared on the street of Lizega, in this Guipuzcoana town, painted red and yellow.
The Professional Union of the Ertzaintza (Sipe) has condemned these "hate messages" with "absolute firmness" and has said that this is not "an isolated incident, but a new sample of the climate of harassment, signalling and delegitimization that has long been promoted by sectors of the ultra-left abertzale, including Ernai or the GKS organizations. "
ErNE calls for clear rejection by all parties
The ErNE UNION of the Ertzaintza has denounced the appearance of the paintings and has called for a "clear condemnation" of all parties in the face of these "threats and coercion". It has also called on EH Bildu to abandon "his usual attitude of justifying such actions".
Esan has accused the paintings of "unacceptable"
Esan, the union of the Ertzaintza, has denounced the incident as "unacceptable" and added that "they do not contribute to the coexistence and institutional respect that must prevail in a democratic society".
The PP condemns the paintings
PP Congresswoman Ainhoa Domaica has expressed her "absolute rejection of these attacks" and has stated that "all parties must condemn without excuse the continued harassment and intimidation of the Euskofascist left".
