Sanchez asks to appear in Congress for the Ceuta crisis

The President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, has requested to appear before the plenary of Congress to report on the Government's handling of "the events of 30 July in Ceuta", according to government sources.

The Minister for Inclusion, Social Security and Migration and government spokeswoman, Elma Saiz, said on Tuesday that the president will "of course" appear in Congress to report on the migration crisis in Ceuta, although she did not specify when.
