Pradales and Sanchez will chair the meeting of the Bilateral Transfer Commission on 15 July
The bilateral commission for permanent cooperation between the State and the Basque Country will be held on 15 July in Madrid and the lehendakari, Imanol Pradales, will transfer to the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro Sánchez, the issues relating to the transfer of the economic regime of the Social Security and investment in electricity networks to ensure the future of the industry.
This was reported by the lehendakari at a press conference in Ajuria Enea following the meeting of the Basque Governing Council, which this Wednesday marks one year since its first meeting in this legislature.
The last bilateral commission in which Sanchez and Pradales participated was held on 27 November, and it was agreed in this forum to transfer competences such as Coastal Management and Management and Cinematographic and Audiovisual Activity.
The two Governments have already held technical meetings on increasing unemployment benefit and contributory benefit (SEPE).

"We must seek political agreement on that bloc."
He has also explained that the Basque Country in committee will call for the creation of the Atlantic macro-region to be promoted and for other outstanding issues to be addressed, such as the official status of the Basque Country in the European institutions.
The President will also again propose, as he did at the Conference of Presidents, greater investment in distribution and electricity transport networks to ensure the future of the transformation of the Basque industry.
At that conference, Pradales proposed to agree with the State a "Industrial Energy Quota" that would enable the Basque Country, through a management mandate, to finance part of the investments to be made in the Basque electricity grid.
Another of the issues to be presented to Pedro Sánchez will be the joint proposal between the Basque Country and the Canary Islands on the equitable distribution of unaccompanied minors to the Autonomous Communities, taking into account indicators relating to the total population, the population of minors in care and GDP per capita, among others.
On 9 July, Sanchez appeared in Congress to explain, among other things, the Koldo case and how it affects the Government.
Pradales said he hopes to reach that meeting on the 15th with "well done" work and leave the meeting with "political agreements."
