EH Bildu and Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) have stated that "in the face of the backward wave rising in the Spanish state, we agree that the solution is more nation and more nation-building", so they will continue "on that path, both in the street and in the institutions".
Both parties met this Monday at the headquarters of EH Bildu in Donostia-San Sebastián, within the framework of the round of contacts initiated by the independence coalition P, to discuss "the answers to the difficult and hopeless situation facing the world and the Spanish state".
The meeting was chaired by EH Bildu's Secretary General, Arnaldo Otegi, and ERC President Oriol Junpoettering.
On behalf of the Basque sovereign party, the Secretary of Political Relations and Senate spokesman, Gorka Elejabarrieta, and the member of the Political Bureau of EH Bildu, Idurre Bideguren, have also attended.
