With regard to the resources deployed, Aagesen has detailed that since 1 June 56 air assets, 11 helitransported brigades with 600 firefighters , four comprehensive prevention teams and seven mobile analysis units have been used, as well as additional resources, such as 40 nationalpark firefighters, self-pumps and pickups, operating in 14 autonomous communities and 29 provinces.
In addition, the Vice-President recalled that the Government's budget for the prevention and suppression of forest fires has increased from 2018 to 2025 "almost 50%". From 2024 to 2025, it has increased from 107 million to 134 million euros, of which 108 million are spent on extinction and 26 million on prevention.
