Pradales and Chivite will renew their new partnership protocol on health, industry, culture and Euskera this Friday
President Imanol Pradales and President of the Government of Navarre Maria Chivite will sign this Friday in Vitoria-Gasteiz a new protocol of cooperation between the two governments, focusing on health, industrial transformation, culture and the Basque Country.
The spokeswoman for the BasqueGovernment, Maria Ubarretxena , explained that the Governing Council has approved a text replacing the agreement in force since December 2021, which aims to "update and expand" the areas of cooperation between the Basque Country and Navarre.
The protocol will continue the previous commitments signed by Chivite and Iñigo Urkullu, covering 29 areas of activity, divided into five major groups: economic, social and cultural, administrative, infrastructure and technology.
According to the sources of both governments, innovation will allow to strengthen projects in health interoperability and digitization, industrial cooperation and technological innovation , as well as cultural and Euskera promotion initiatives .
With this new step, the Basque and Navarre governments want to deepen stable institutional cooperation to respond to common challenges in strategic areas and strengthen relations between the two communities.
