King Philip VI will travel to Gernika this Friday to participate in an act of remembrance for the victims of the 1937 Gernika bombing, which will beattended by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Although it is not on the official agenda of the Spanish Royal House, the tribute, as confirmed by Radio Euskadi, will have the highest institutional representation of the State. The President, Imanol Pradales, will receive Felipe VI in Gernika at an event that has aroused great expectation.
