On January 10 , EH Bildu will hold hisGeneral Assembly in Bilbao, which on this occasion will serve to take stock of the popular initiative "National Dialogue" and prepare for the year that the coalition considers "key" for Basque politics in 2026.
In a statement, the sovereign left stresses that although the assembly is part of the ordinary calendar, the uniqueness of the new year and the political challenges ahead attach particular importance to the meeting. In this regard, EH Bildu has indicated that it will take advantage of the meeting to strengthen its political and institutional initiative for the next election cycle.
In the coming months, the coalition will be working on programme bases with the aim of responding to the "concerns and problems" of the Basque people, including access to housing, the loss of quality of public services and the increase in the cost of living .
The General Assembly will also address the involvement of committed people who want to "take another step towards enriching" EH Bildu's political project.
The day will begin with the intervention of EH Bildu's Secretary General, Arnaldo Otegi, who will take stock of the "National Dialogue", a massive popular initiative launched last September, with "contributions, answers and certainties" received from different sectors of Euskal Herria.
