The Government of Navarre has recognizedin 2025 65 victims caused by extreme right-wing groups or public officials as a result of politically motivated actions, including one victim shot dead . 55 were arrested and tortured, and the rest suffered physical, psychological and material damage , namely 44 men and 21 women.
ThePresident of the Commission for the Recognition and Reparation of Iktimas , Martin Zabalza, presented this Friday in the Navarre Parliament the report of the activity, in which he detailed the data. According to the report, so far the Governmentof Navarre has allocated a total of about 1,800,000 euros.

The rest were shot by gunfire from members of the State security forces and bodies", Zabalza explained.
At the moment, 99 files have not yet been resolved, and the deadline for applying for recognition as a victim of politically motivated acts expires in May of next year .
Zabalza has explained that the Commission's methodology created in 2022 underthe Foral Law\u00A0 16/2019 "does not replace the judicial function, nor does it seek to reconstruct the facts with absolute historical certainty, but rather to examine the likelihood, consistency and permissibility of the damage, following the standards of the court based on the Istanbul Protocoland the UN Special Rapporteur ".
