Three Molotov cocktails launched at Bayonne Subprefecture
The Prefecture of the Atlantic Pyrenees reported the launch this morning of three Molotov cocktails against the headquarters of the Bayonne subprefecture.
Prefect Jean Marie Girier said in a statement that the attack took place around 4 a.m. and that there had been no significant damage, but he strongly denounced the action. Attacking the prefecture is attacking the French republic. Nothing justifies targeting institutions that guarantee the republican order and the general interest.
He added that every effort will be made to bring the attackers before the judges.
