The 14-point memorandum, reached after months of negotiations under Pakistani mediation, puts an end to the war that began on 28 February with the US-Israel offensive against the Islamic Republic and orders the "immediate and definitive cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon."
Both sides now have 60 days to negotiate final agreements on Iran's nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions, during which time Iran will ensure free passage through the Strait of Hormuz and the US will lift the naval blockade on Iranian ports in 30 days.
