The Artxanda tunnel has been closed for six months between Ugasko and the Txorierri for infrastructure renovation work
During this time, the connection between Bilbao and the Txorierri will be guaranteed through the first tunnel, as well as the usual access to Enekuri and Egilleta. The works will be aimed at strengthening the security, efficiency and sustainability of the infrastructure, with an investment of almost EUR 13 million planned.

A landslide on the wall of Artxanda Park has forced the area to close
The area has been cordoned off and the works will be done "as soon as the project is completed".

The environmental group has warned that landfills such as Artxanda (Bilbao), Etxe Uli (Santurtzi), Jata (Lemoiz) and Premabi (Sondika) have been known to administrations for decades, and although they pollute the environment, they have done nothing.

The Artxanda funicular has been closed for three days due to maintenance work
As reported by the City Council, a special bus service (line E5) will be launched to strengthen transport between Bilbao and Artxanda, which will be provided as a complement to the usual bus on line A7, which will continue normally.
