The new prime minister gets more than two-thirds of Parliament and promises to bring Budapest closer to the EU again, in a move that will have immediate consequences in Brussels, Moscow and Kiev.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has warned that easing these sanctions reinforces Moscow's position and gives it an additional $10 billion to continue the war against Ukraine.

Europe's leading leaders, including Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa , respectively, have expressed their full support for Volodimir Zelenski in Kiev this morning. Four years after Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, the President of the European Commission and the Council of Europe, Volodimir Zelensky, participated in the ceremony held at the Cathedral of Santa Sofia  and remembered the dead in the war.

The protest events in the three capitals of the Basque Country have been convened by the Ukraina-Basque Country Association, about four years after the outbreak of the war between Russia and Ukraine. 

Zelenski, after the tripartite meeting in Geneva between representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the United States, has stated, however, that there has been no political progress. 

The German Chancellor has called for Europeans atthe opening ceremony of the Munich Security Conference (MSC), an important meeting that brings together 200 heads of state, government and ministers from A0120 countries.

The IOC has expelled Ukrainian skeletonist Vladyslav Heraskevych from the Milan-Cortina Games for competing with a helmet with photos of Ukrainian athletes killed in the Russian war, considering that it violated the rules of political neutrality.

Representatives of Ukraine and Russia have met in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, together with representatives of the United States, in a second round of contacts to end the war, which will continue on Thursday.

Darnitsia and Dniprovski are residential buildings in the suburbs. This is Russia's first attack on energy facilities since it declared a temporary ceasefire last Thursday during the energy bombings.

However, the PP leader has already warned that his party will not support this possibility if the government does not provide him with specific data and explanations.

The Ministry of Defence has explained that they have responded to the "attack by the Kiev regime on the headquarters of the Russian president in the Novgorod region on 29 December."

The Coalition of Volunteers meets in Paris to discuss the achievement of a ceasefire in Ukraine and the end of the war. The President of the Spanish Government also opens the door to the possibility of Spanish soldiers participating in a "peace mission" in Ukraine.

The US will participate for the first time in a full face-to-face summit with European leaders and Zelensky to find a way out of the war in Ukraine.

Zelenski has denied the attack and warned on his social media that Putin's goal is "to be an excuse to continue his attacks on Ukraine."

The meeting in Florida has represented a rapprochement between Washington and Kiev and the intention to involve the main European partners again. However, there are still substantial differences over security guarantees and the territorial situation in eastern Ukraine.

European leaders have backed the Ukrainian president before meeting with the White House president in Florida, and Canada has promised him million-dollar aid to rebuild the country.

Moscow has launched heavy attacks on the Ukrainian capital and the northeastern and southern regions, resulting in at least one death and 19 injuries.

International politics has left many questions on the table. Trump accuses Venezuela of supporting drug terrorism, is on the way to rearming Europe, and the ultra-right is booming in Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Spain.
