Almost four and a half years after the end of the war in Ukraine, the Russian army has killed at least 12 people and wounded 34 others in a massive attack on Kiev, Ukraine, on Thursday, as confirmed by the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klichko, and the state emergency services.
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has claimed on social media that the Russians have carried out a massive "long-planned" attack, combining ballistic ammunition, missiles and drones, "with the intention of damaging the civilian infrastructure as much as possible."
According to Zelensky, several residential buildings, a children's hospital and a school have been destroyed.
