Hundreds of Venezuelans have taken to the streets in broad daylight in the capital, Caracas, demanding the release of Maduro and his return to Venezuela.

The largest concentration has taken place next to the Miraflores Palace, the seat of the Venezuelan Government. 

"We will rule that country as long as there is a safe, adequate and reasonable transition. In other words, we do not want Maduro to be replaced by anyone and to repeat the situation we have had in recent years," he said at a press conference from his headquarters in Florida.

Thousands of people from Venezuela live in the Basque Country, many of whom are opposed to Nicolas Maduro's government. They are hopeful about what happened and hope for a peaceful transition.

Although it has been described as an attack on drug trafficking, experts believe that Trump's real goal is to bring about political change in Venezuela.

Russia has denounced an "armed attack" with "unfounded excuses," Spain has called for "de-escalation and moderation," and the Argentine president has celebrated the attack.

U.S. President Donald Trump reported the news through social media. 

Aircraft have been heard along with the explosions, and some of the explosions have occurred at the country's main military base, Fort Tiuna, west of the city, and at the military base of La Carlota.

 Trumphas declared in recent days that the Iranian government is trying to redevelop its nuclear program and has been prepared to respond with possible  bombings, as it did with Israel in June.

The Democratic mayor took office after midnight at an event at a historic metro station in the city. In his first statements as mayor of New York, he stressed that it is "an honor and a privilege." 

So far, neither the Pentagon nor the US Government nor Venezuela have confirmed the attack mentioned by Trump. If confirmed, it would be the first US attack on Venezuelan soil.

The electric company has specified that the suspension promised by the U.S. Government only affects projects under construction, and that most of the Vineyard Wind Park, which is already producing energy off the coast of Massachusetts, is in operation.

The Executive has made this decision because of "the national security risks identified by the Department of War." "The main duty of the United States Government is to protect Americans," they argue.

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG & E) has reported that about 130,000 people have run out of electricity in San Francisco, USA, and are still working to resolve the situation.

Public transport has been interrupted and traffic lights have not been operational in several areas, which has caused difficulties and delays in traffic. The authorities have urged the population not to go to the affected areas and to go to emergency services only when strictly necessary.

The Chavista government has described the incident as an act of "piracy" and has also denounced the "forced disappearance" of the crew.
