The meeting of the board of the Guggenheim Museum in Urdaibai to decide the future of the project will take place on 16 December at 5 p.m., according to EITB Media.
It will be a crucial meeting because that forum will decide what will happen to the project to build a Guggenheim in Urdaibai.
The Board is expected to consider suspending the museum project for the time being.
In recent months, the institutions involved have given a number of clarifications on this issue, the clearest of which was given by the General Member of Bizkaia himself, who, at last September's general policy plenary, warned of the difficulties in making the project viable in the medium term (Etxanobe mentioned judicial processes, decontamination works and urban planning procedures).
In addition, the process of hearing the opinions of citizens has also influenced this decision.
However, the final decision will come on Tuesday, the 16th, after the board meeting.
