Three people have been seriously injured in an accident involving two cars in the Biscay town of Karrantza, according to the Basque Government's Department of Safety.
Cars collided head-on on BI-630, around 10:30, near Ambasaguas.
One of the two vehicles has overturned and three people have been taken seriously injured to Cruces.
The road has been closed until 03:30 because of the cleaning and removal of vehicles.
