Two cyclists have been hospitalized in Navarre with reserved prognosis after being hit by two cars
The two men, aged 58 and 51, have suffered serious bruises and have been transferred to the University Hospital of Navarre as a result of two road accidents, one in Egüés and the other in Berrioplano.
Two cyclists were hospitalized this Sunday with reserved prognosis injuries as a result of the hit-and-run in Eguesibar and Berrioplano.
The first accident took place at 14:15 on Crossing 1 Larraina Street in Berrioplano, where a 58-year-old cyclist was hit by a car, according to 112-SOS Navarra.
The injured man has been taken to Navarra University Hospital with head injury. Officers of the Foral Police and an advanced life-support ambulance have moved to the scene of the accident.
Then, at 17:11, in Sarriguren (Eguesibar), on the avenue of the European Union, another accident occurred. The 51-year-old cyclist has been hit by a car and has suffered reserved prognosis injuries. The injured man has been taken in a basic life-support ambulance to Navarra University Hospital.
Emergency services have also mobilized the Foral Police.
