Five people, three of them minors, were injured this Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident on the N-121 off the Navarre town of Valtierra, where SOS Navarra reported in a statement that two cars collided at around 8.43 p.m. this Tuesday.
Upon receiving notice of the accident, fire brigade from Peralta and Tudela, a medical team from Valtierra, a medicalized ambulance, three basic life-support ambulances, Foral Police and Civil Guard patrols have moved to the scene.
The accident occurred at the kilometre 72.4 of road N-121, off Valtierra, when two vehicles collided on a cruiser. One of the passengers, a 16-year-old boy, had to be rescued from a car by the fire brigade because he was trapped in it.
The remaining wounded have been taken to Queen Sofia Hospital in Tudela, an 8-year-old boy with minor injuries, a 46-year-old woman for observation, a 16-year-old with bruises and a 22-year-old woman with chest and face injuries.
The Civil Guard has opened an investigation to clarify the causes of the accident.
