Three minors from Bernedo camp have been summoned to testify
Examining magistrate No. 3 of Vitoria-Gasteiz, who is conducting the case , has decided to summon three minors identified in the Ertzaintza report to be declared "victim-witnesses".
Examining magistrate No. 3 of Vitoria has summoned three minor victims of sexual freedom to testify at the Bernedo camp.
So far, four complaints have been filedwith the Ertzaintza about alleged incidents at the Bernedo summer camp. One of the alleged victims has explained that monitors forced minors to shower naked with them, suck their feet, hug half-naked or show their buttocks, among other things.
The Court of Vitoria conducting the case decided on Monday to summonthe three victims identified in the police report to be declared "victim witnesses".
In addition, it ordered the Public Prosecutor's Office to inform it whether or not it is taking appropriate criminal action and has requested the Ertzaintza to identify the presenceof more minors in order to inform the judicial body of the outcome of the investigations carried out, as reported by the High Court of Justice of the Basque Country.
Finally, Instruction No. 3 of Vitoria. The court has agreed to notify the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa of its rights as "injured or offended", since two of the alleged victims would be Guipuzcoans.
The first complaint was filed with the Ertzaintza on 25 August 2025, allegedly for the events in 2021 and 2022 in the Aibagar camps and in 2023 and 2024 in Bernedo.
Last Friday, 26 September, three other complaints were filed at the police stations in Llodio, Vitoria and Deba-Urola against sexual freedom allegedly committed in the summer camps in Bernedo.
