Four were injured, two of them seriously, as a result of a traffic accident in Sunbilla
The accident occurred at kilometre 54 of the N-121-A, in the Larrakaitz tunnel, where two cars and two trucks collided.
Four people were injured on Tuesday afternoon, two of them seriously, in an accident at the N-121-A, inside the Larrakaitz tunnel (Sunbilla, Navarre).
Two cars , a rigid truck and an articulate truck have collided and the road has been cut in both directions. Traffic has been diverted along the NA-120 road.
The SOS Navarra Emergency Management Centre has been notified of the accident at 4.25 p.m. and has mobilized firefighters from the Oronoz Park, two medicalized ambulances, two basic life-support ambulances, doctors from Doneztebe and Lesaka, a medicalized helicopter, public works personnel and Civil Guard patrols.
Emergency services haveevacuated four people to the Navarra University Hospital in Pamplona:
A 39-year-old woman has been evacuated in a medicalized helicopter with severe abdominal injuries. An 82-year-old man has been evacuated in a medicalized ambulance in a serious condition. He has chest and pelvis injuries.
In basic life-support ambulances, a woman with reserved polytrauma and a 50-year-old man with mild prognosis bruises have been taken.
The Civil Guard is investigating the causes and circumstances of the accident.
