The man arrested by the Ertzaintza for holding his sick mother in a house in Bilbao has been released on charges after testifying before the judge.
According to the Basque Government's Department of Security, the 60-year-old man was arrested by the Ertzaintza on charges of domestic abuse, illegal detention, family abandonment and animal abuse.
