A driver has been arrested in Tudela for driving 11 km in the opposite direction on the A68
He was under the influence of alcohol and was driving without his driver's license.
Officers of the Foral Police of the Tudela Police Station arrested this morning on the Ebro Highway (A68) a 54-year-old Zaragozano driverwho drove more than 11 kilometres inthe direction of Contra under the influence of alcohol and without a driver's license.
Around 04:30, the Foral Police Command and Coordination Centre received an emergency callfrom several drivers on the A68.
According to the Foral Police in a statement, they tried to stopthedriver by sound and light signals, but failed to do so, so they pursued the vehicle to stop it.
The driver gave a test rate of 0.78 mg/L. In addition, he was driving without a driver's license because he had been removed, so he was charged with the corresponding offence.
However, he has been released pending a judicial summons from Tudela.
