Accidents at Rontegi, the Max Center (at least 4 kilometres of detention between Nervacero and Rontegi) and the N-1, Irura and Tolosa (up to 3 kilometres) have marked a very difficult day on the roads.
The morning has started with serious problems on the Left Bank of Greater Bilbao, with three vehicles involved in an accident on the Rontegi Bridge that has led to long delays. Another accident on the Max Center line has again blocked the A-8 motorway, overflowing access to Barakaldo, Sestao and Trapagaran. In Gipuzkoa there have also been several accidents on the N-1road. In Irura, a disaster at kilometre 439 has forced the cutting of a lane in the Irun sense, resulting in queues of up to 3 kilometres. In Tolosa there has been another accident that has caused more problems on the same road.
Emergency services have responded to collisions and cranes have been working to remove damaged vehicles. Traffic is gradually normalizing, but caution and road status are recommended through 011.
