Following the burning of a truck this Saturday at the A-1 in Iruraiz-Gauna (Álava), the road will be completely cut off for several days in the Irun sense, according to the Basque Government's Department of Security.
According to the same sources, the fire damaged the asphalt and will have to be repaired before it is reopened to traffic.
The repair work will last "a few days", so traffic to Irun is being diverted along the A-3100 at this point, until it enters the highway shortly before reaching Salvatierra.
