Rally in Pasaia to report the murder of the woman.
The Public Prosecutor's Office requests 34 years' imprisonment for a man accusedof shooting his former partner in the head in Pasaia (Gipuzkoa), a macho crime that occurred on 30 November 2024 and since then the man has been in pre-trial detention and will be tried by a jury in 2026.
According to the provisional indictment of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the events took place around 3 p.m., when the alleged murderer went to the victim's home and waited on the landing with a gun until his ex-girlfriend's roommate arrived.
When the woman was about to enter the house, the man put the gun behind her back and asked her to open the door.
When the victim was inside the house, the man pointed his gun at the two women, ordered them to sit on the sofa and, among other expressions and reproaches, threatened to kill his former partner.
Then he allegedly hit her in the nose with the butt of the gun, shot her in the thigh, loaded the gun with more bullets to target the two women again, and confirmed the death threats to his former partner.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office's text, at that moment her daughter entered the house, and the accused rushed over to her, ordered her to close the door, seized her by one arm, and asked her to sit on the sofa with the other two women.
Then, ignoring everyone's requests to leave him alone, he shot his ex-girlfriend in the face, so "suddenly and unexpectedly" that she "had no chanceof defending herself. "
