A forest fire broke out this afternoon in Ea. According to information released so far, the fire started around 12:00 and was extinguished by 6:00.
A number of fire brigades and Mountain Services personnel from the Provincial Council of Bizkaia have come to the scene to participate in the extinction work. They have also been assisted by a Ertzaintza helicopter.
The Ertzaintza has opened an investigation to clarify what happened.
