The UPV/EHU will offer 133 courses and 29 workshops in the 45th edition of the Summer Courses

Under the motto 'Think We Are', the UPV/EHU will offer 133 courses and 29 workshops or workshops for the 45th edition of the Summer Courses. Although most of the sessions will be held in San Sebastián, Bilbao, Vitoria and Baiona, the offer will also be extended to smaller municipalities throughout Euskal Herria.
The UPV/EHU rector, Joxerramon Bengoetxea, the deputy director of the BBVA Foundation, Laura Poderoso, and the academic director of the Summer Courses, Idoia Otaegi, have given details of this edition at their morning appearance in Bilbao. They have explained that "maintaining the goal of expanding the presence" in all the territories.
Most sessions will be offered in face-to-face format , and many of them will also be available to follow live online. En addition to this, participatory and innovative methodologies will be used in 43 courses.
As far as language is concerned, of the total offer, 21 will be made entirely in Basque, and 62 will combine Basque with other languages.
People between the ages of 18 and 25 will have a special offer, and in most courses they will only have to pay 25 euros.
In his agreement, Otaegi has explained that care will be the main theme of this year. "An inclusive and innovative future built from care," he has detailed. In any case, "responding to the current challenges," he has explained that the Summer Courses will include a wide range of important topics: Culture and Art, Society, Health, Education, Law, Economy and Enterprise, Science and Technology and Sustainability.
