The anti-segregation table will plan nine projects for vulnerable students for the next year
Table Excellent School Born to Combat School Segregation held its sixth session today in Bilbao, in which, among other initiatives,theinitiative "School Backpack" was presented, so that students in vulnerable schools can guarantee basic services (dining room, transport or material) .
The meeting, led bythe Education Counsellor Begoña Pedrosa, brought together the agents of the Basque education system and discussed the work they will do in the coming weeks.
According to the Basque Government in a statement, these working groups will consist of about 100 professionals and educational agents , who will be responsible for establishing concrete measures until the end of the school year.
Nine projects are under way in three main lines of action: promoting school success, managing supply and schooling, working with families and coordinating between administrations.
The Excellent School Table for All will continue to work in the coming weeks, until the end of the school year, to advance the definition of the projects that will form the educational road map of the Department of Education.
