The government delegate to the Comunitat Valenciana, Pilar Bernabé, has described as "unacceptable" the attack seen in a video circulating on social media. The images show a National Police beating a woman in the back and throwing her on the ground during a teacher protest.

In a message posted on his official account on the X network, the government representative said that what happened would be "thoroughly investigated to establish responsibility."
"Protecting the right to demonstrate safely is above anything," he said, adding that what has happened is "absolutely incomprehensible."
Trade unions also denounce a "brutal attack"
Education unions have publicly denounced the "brutal aggression" suffered by women around the Education Council.
The representatives of STEPV, CCOO and UGT have expressed their full support for the "comrade crushed by the National Police" and wish him "a speedy recovery."
Trade union representatives have been meeting with the Administration and although the Administration has closed the meeting, the trade unions remain in the Conselleria, saying that they will not stand up until they reach some basic commitments.
