Eight students have been rated "0" on the USaP Euskera exam due to a computer error by the UPV/EHU
The error occurred in a court in Bizkaia and the notes were misrated as not presented with a "0". The university detected the error, reviewed the minutes and introduced the actual notes into the system and notified the relevant centres.
The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) has reported a technical failure on the University Access Test (USaP) rating query platform, which led several students to receive a "zero"rating on Wednesday in the Basque language test, which was incorrect as they were not presented .
The incident has specifically affected eight students from a court in Bizkaia, as confirmed by the University. After realizing the error, the computer services of the university and the organization of the academies immediately proceeded to review the data in the computer application. After comparing it with the physical records, the actual grades of the affected students were introduced into the system.
The UPV/EHU contacted the schools of the affected students directly to inform them of the situation and that the problem had already been resolved.
The University has sent out a message of tranquillity to ensure that all academic information is properly updated and available in the system.
Finally, the institution recalls that, although this one-off incident has been resolved, the date of the official schedule of access tests remains the same, and that if any student wishes to request a second inspection, the deadline is open.
