A kind of tense calm reigns in the area as they prepare for the opening of humanitarian corridors to care for victims. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights estimates that 1,000 people have died.

Noureddine al Baba, spokesman for the Syrian Ministry of the Interior, has ended the conflict between Druze militias and Bedouin communities in southern Syria this Sunday following the intervention of Syrian security forces.
"After intensive efforts by the Ministry of the Interior to establish a ceasefire and deploy security forces in the Sueida region, the fighters have been evacuated and hostilities have ceased, "Al Baba said.
Local media have reported clashes in the region this Saturday, and 940 people have been killed. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Giza has confirmed that Sueida is currently experiencing a tense calm as they prepare to open humanitarian corridors to care for the victims of a week of violence.
The Syrian Government, led by Ahmed al-Shara , announced on Friday that it would send security forces to the site to end the fighting, even though a few days earlier it had decided to withdraw because tensionhad escalated.
Likewise, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called on the Syrian Government to prevent the Islamic State and other jihadist groups from entering the country through the army.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara has pledged to stabilize the situation and local authorities have recently faced security problems , especially following thefall in December of Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS) by a jihadist and rebel offensive.
