The Basque will be the stage of the show "Mastodophonika" on 5 and 6 September
The event brings together Mastodonte, the San Juan Bautista Choir of Leioa and the Basque Youth Orchestra (EGO).
The Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao will host the show "Mastodophonika" on 5 and 6 September, within the special programming of the Big Week.
The event will bring together Mastodonte, a duo made up of actor Asier Etxeandia and Neapolitan musician Enrico Barbaro ; the San Juan Bautista Choir of Leioa; and the Basque Youth Orchestra (EGO) , under the direction of Iker Sánchez.
From the Basque they define the assembly as "a show that awakens all senses, much more than a concert. It highlights the mythological journey, the strength of the territory and the souls that inhabit it." It also claims Basque culture, traditions and identity through traditional songs in Basque, including a new version of "Glaciar", one of the most popular songs of the duo Mastodonte, as well as the coplas of Santa Águeda.
The event will begin at 8:30 p.m., both days, and tickets are already available on the Euskalduna website in Bilbao.
