"Our intention is to give a strong boost to the mobility system through progressive discounts aimed at rewarding the intensive use of public transport, which would improve access to groups with special needs such as young people, large families, persons with disabilities or those with low incomes," explained the Mobility Counsellor.
As an example of the government's commitment, García Chueca has pointed out that citizens have saved more than EUR 53 million in discounts on Euskotren and Renfe since 2022.
