Former PNV leader in Álava Alfredo de Miguel gets third grade
The leader of the largest corruption plot in the Basque Country has obtained the third degree after spending 1 and a half years in prison (he was sentenced to 12 years in prison). The third degree has been granted against the decision of the Labour Prison Commission, according to sources from the Justice Department of the Basque Government.
Alfredo de Miguel , former leader of the Álava PNV and leader of the largest corruption plot in the Basque Country, has won the third grade.
It has been handed over to him by the prison supervision judge against the decisionof the Treatment Board and the Management Centre of the Nanclares prison, according to sources from the Justice Department of the Basque Government.
The prisoner, who filed a complaint and has been considered by the judge, was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment and has served one and a half years since he entered prison on 6 July 2023.
