The President, Imanol Pradales, and the President of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, have today held a meeting of the Bilateral Cooperation Commission at which agreements have also been reached on measures to strengthen public security.
The meeting has agreed to push for regulatory changes in the event of repeated offences, with the aim of effectively responding to the problem of persons who have not yet reached a final verdict but continue to commit crimes.
Measures have also been taken to tighten and strengthen the sanctions regime on the carrying of blades, the use of which will be prohibited.
