Former Minister José Luis Ábalos, his former adviser, is today the turn of Koldo García and businessman Victor de Aldama in the Supreme Court trial for alleged irregularities in the masks contracts awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Transport during the pandemic.
Aldama has explained to the judge that Koldo asked him for help in defrauding public awards and for certain construction companies to pay commissions to finance the PSOE.
In particular, Koldo asked him to intervene to win tenders from the Ministry of Transport. In return, these companies had to pay commissions.
According to Aldama, he asked Koldo how these commissions would be paid, and he replied that they should be made in cash .
