Andueza claims "social priority" over the "national priority" of the PP, Vox and Basque nationalism
The PSE-EE Secretary General has set himself the goal of continuing to improve results in the municipal and presidential elections of 2027; and has censored the agreement reached between PNV and EH Bildu to amend the Public Employment Act.
The PSE-EESecretary General, Eneko Andueza, on Tuesday called for "social priority" as the centrepiece of socialist policies, given that the PP, Vox and Basque nationalism prioritize "national priority." He made these statements to the party's National Committee in Bilbao.
Thus, the process of electing candidates for the municipal and presidential elections of 2027 has begun in the socialist ranks.
In particular, Andueza has set itself the goal of maintaining the trendin the last five elections and has advocated ratifying the mayors who govern and increasing party representation in more municipalities and deputies.
Objectives and policies
The Socialist Secretary has called for a "useful policy "and stressed that while the PPand Voxpromote "segregation" and "exclusion" , the Socialists focus on improving the quality of life of citizens, whilePNV and EH Bildu "return to their obsessions".
Regarding the state political scene, Andueza has expressed surprise at a possible coalition government between the PP and Vox, but has ensured that the general election will allow a majority to be formed to stop right-wing and far-right parties .
Criticism of the Euskera Agreement
The PSE-EE Secretary General has censured the agreement reached between PNV and EH Bildu to amend the Public Employment Act , which will only lead to an increase in the requirements of the Basque Country in the administration, without providing any solution toexisting problems.
